Morgan McKinley is delighted to be supporting an FMCG business to hire a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join their team in Dublin West.This role is crucial for supporting the development of financial plans and the reporting of key performance indicators related to operational profit and cash flow. The FP&A Analyst will play a key role in financial reporting, controls, and supply & inventory management, contributing to enhanced knowledge sharing and resource allocation across the finance function.Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business units to develop marketing and operational expenditure (OpEx) budgets that align with both market and Group requirements.
- Work closely with budget owners in creating and analysing budgets and performance
- Prepare and deliver detailed local market reports on volume and financial performance, including variance analysis on KPIs
- Prepare and submit market CFO briefs for month-end reporting, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Clearly communicate key business drivers and financial insights to all relevant stakeholders.
- Support and prepare analysis of inventory and demand planning projections to optimise Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO) and maximize free cash flow.
- Provide assistance in financial controls, including adherence to local policies and procedures and control testing
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant
- Strong analytical skills with experience in variance analysis and financial modelling.
- Proficiency in financial planning systems and Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
