With a team of 3,000 people of 51 different nationalities, ASL Aviation Holdings is committed to excellence, experience, and expertise in aviation services while acting in the best interest of staff, customers, environment, and planet through their ESG policy.The ASL Engineering Shared Services (ESS) ATR section is responsible for supporting Engineering activities related to the airworthiness, safety, reliability, operational disruption, and commercial cost effectiveness of all ATR aircraft types operated by ASL Airlines and its customer airlines.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Services ATR section is responsible for Engineering activities related to the airworthiness, safety, reliability, operational disruption, and commercial cost effectiveness of all ATR aircraft types operated by ASL Airlines and its customer airlines.Responsible for:

• Ensuring applicable FAA/EASA Airworthiness Directives are reviewed and managed with compliant technical and/or procedural actions.

• Identifying, reviewing, producing and following-up of technical documentation related to Non-mandatory Modifications (SB, SL, STC, or Service docs).

• Monitoring of operational reliability with identification and introduction of effective delay mitigation actions to ensure target levels for operational reliability are achieved.

• Liaising with the ASL Operator CAMO to ensure the subcontracted CAMO services are delivered and fully compliant.

• Using Reliability Centred Maintenance Philosophy, in coordination with the ASL Operator CAMOs, producing and managing initial issue and revision to AMP, supporting AMP optimization projects, reviewing findings to ensure the AMP remains compliant and effective considering the operating experience.

• Management of Reliability Reports and contributing to the company reliability control process.

• Providing assistance to aircraft phase-in /phase-out projects as required, including records review of AD/SB, HTC, LLPs, OCCM, modification status, to support the Operator CAMO in accordance with EASA/FAA/CAA requirements.

• Manage technical investigations and implement corrective actions.

• Investigating Occurrence reports performing appropriate technical and/or procedural actions to minimize possibility of recurrence for the fleet.

• Supporting ASL Operator Line Maintenance and Flight Operations with specialist technical support.

• Driving continuous improvement, processes, and procedures.

• Lead and mentor the Technical Engineers in his/her respective Team.

• Prepare and maintain the team Manpower Plan on a quarterly basis

• Assisting the ASL Operator with managing the technical relationship with ATR to ensure they effectively support ASL activities

• Support the ESS Head of Engineering Services in the discharge of day-to-day continuous airworthiness duties for the assigned fleet

• Keeping abreast of industry best practice ideas and developments – adopting these where appropriate

QualificationsMust have completed a recognised apprenticeship in aircraft engineering with four years’ post apprenticeship aircraft engineering experience, orMust hold a recognised aircraft engineering qualification (Degree in Engineering or aerospace discipline or an equivalent professional qualification) with minimum 3 years’ experience in Engineering role, orMust hold a Part 66 licence issued by the IAA or equivalent authority.Experience

• Strong aviation engineering knowledge and experience in a CAMO organization preferably in ATR aircraft systems role.
• Strong supplier management experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact and influence across Engineering sections, OEM’s, other operators, industry experts and regulators.
• Sound knowledge of maintenance planning.
• Sound knowledge of airworthiness regulations.
• Sound knowledge of aircraft maintenance programmes and development.
• Sound knowledge of computerised Maintenance Information Systems and record keeping systems. Knowledge of AMOS/TRAX will be an asset.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Fluent in English.
