FS VAT Manager – Big 4 – Londonup to £70,000 + Car AllowanceThis Big 4 Indirect Tax Team has rapidly expanded over the past five years, seeking high-calibre VAT Professionals to maintain this growth. The Financial Services (FS) Indirect Tax team specialises in Banking & Capital Markets, Investment Management, Insurance, and Fintech, providing tailored VAT and IPT advice on complex transactions.The team stays updated on relevant tax issues, collaborates with industry bodies, and liaises with HM Treasury and HM Revenue & Customs. The work is often global, providing opportunities to interact with the global network and report directly to partners.The RoleJoining the FS team offers challenging and innovative work in a vibrant, sociable environment. You’ll enhance your skills through diverse projects, from global restructurings to VAT process automation’s. Independence is encouraged, allowing you to build your own network with team support always available.Responsibilities include:

• Deepening relationships with target accounts and winning new work
• Leading client engagements and reporting directly to partners
• Mentoring less experienced staff
• Developing new market opportunities locally and internationally
• Enhancing relationships with targets and clients
• Collaborating with colleagues across the firm
• Managing diverse teams and promoting an inclusive culture

What do you need?Required qualifications and skills:

• Prior VAT experience in industry, professional services, or HMRC ideally with FS VAT knowledge
• CTA or equivalent qualification preferred
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and take responsibility
