Financial Controller – GalwayDOE: €70k – €85KCompany Overview:Our client are a Main Contractor involved in numerous construction projects throughout Ireland. They are seeking an experienced financial controller with experience in the construction industry to add to their growing team.Job Summary:
- Preparation of management accounts together with supporting board report schedules
- Managing the forecasting and budgeting process
- Revenue related activities: Revenue recognition with supporting documentation
- Weekly working capital reporting (cash, accrued revenue, debtors)
- Managing Payroll, pensions, and related matters
- Taxes: PAYE, VAT, CT and annual returns
- Banking and treasury
- Statutory accounts preparation and audit
- Continuous improvement of reporting and processes
- Ad-hoc queries as expected in a financial controller role
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous Financial Controller position within the construction industry experience preferred but not essential.
- Fully qualified – ACA / CIMA / ACCA
- Excellent Excel and financial modelling skills are required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
