The Financial Accountant will support the Financial Controller and Director in managing effective financial and management transaction processing, compliance, and providing critical financial insights for business management.Responsibilities Include:Leadership & People Management

• Line managing 2 Assistant Management Accountants and a Treasurer.

Financial Management

• Preparing accurate financial statements, management accounts, and reports.
• Completing month-end close processes and oversee treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and banking matters.

Compliance

• Ensuring tax and payroll compliance across all regions, liaising with external advisors as needed. Overseeing regulatory reports and returns.

Audit Support

• Assisting in the annual Group audit and other necessary audits, ensuring financial ethics and compliance.

Commercial Support

• Contributing to profit maximisation, funding reduction, and risk management initiatives.

Efficiency & IT

• Collaborating with the IT Team to realise efficiency opportunities and participate in ongoing projects such as system upgrades and profitability analysis.

Requirements:Essential

• Qualified CA, ACCA, or CIMA Accountant.
• 5-10 years’ experience in a Finance Department with proven team management skills.

Desirable

• Tax analysis and reporting, international exposure.
• Previous experience in an Audit Department.
