The role

Opportunity exist for a Part-time (3 days a week) Finance Office Administrator will be responsible for supporting operations Bureau Veritas Australian, New Zealand and PNG operations for the Marine and Offshore division based out of our modern and central Adelaide CBD offices. This role will work with other professionals in a Commercial team reporting to the Commercial Manager.

  • Coordination of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and CAPEX in line with company policies and procedures

  • Weekly processing Time and Expense claims

  • Support Business Controller with Financial reporting

  • Assist the team with general administrative tasks and travel bookings

The role will be offered on a Part-time fixed term contract. A flexible work pattern can be accommodated for a candidate that can demonstrate their ability to meet the role requirements.

What’s needed?

  • Completed University Qualification, Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting/Bookkeeping- open to University students in their final year of study.

  • Experience in a similar role (Bookkeeping highly desirable)

  • High degree of competency using financial systems and online software platforms

  • Understanding of financial controls and their application across standard financial processes

  • Experience in an office environment

  • Strong problem solving and communications skills

  • Recent National Police Clearance
