Sr Analyst – Performance and Insights
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support the CFO of Aon Australia to drive business performance and insights including consolidation, annual budgeting and monthly forecasting.

What the day will look like
Whilst you play an integral role to support the FP&A function for Aon AU, primary responsibilities include delivering month end close, monthly forecasting consolidation of Australia financial results and more importantly champion the finance transformation initiatives within AU FP&A team
You responsibilities include but not limited to:
Financial Consolidation: Lead and deliver the consolidation of monthly financial results for Aon AU ensuring accuracy, timeliness and completeness. This includes pre month end flash, month end flash and month end close of ledger alongside FPs and Controllership
Forecasting Implementation: Oversee and implement the monthly forecasting process, providing timely and relevant updates to the Finance partners,, CFO AU and APAC Regional finance team.
Process Reengineering: Identify opportunities for process improvements and reengineering within the FP&A processes
Data Analysis: Provide comprehensive and ad-hoc financial analysis, including drivers of revenue, cost, and headcount, to support decision-making by the CFO AU
Reporting: Deliver value-added reporting and insights to the CFO, highlighting key performance measures and trends in collaboration with the AU Finance partners
Collaboration: Work closely with Finance partners , controllership, CoE team in India, Regional Finance teams and business stakeholders locally and internationally
Strategic Support: Assist in the development and implementation of effective finance transformation strategies, supporting business development and growth.
Coaching: Mentor and develop junior and new finance colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Strong people skills, with the ability to engage with colleagues across distinct functions and bring people together to achieve a result
Ability to influence, negotiate, lead and coach
A curious mind, with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to perform complex financial analyses (including CBAs and investments) and build financial models.
Strong financial acumen, and attention to detail
CPA/CA/MBA Finance qualifications preferred with at least 3-5 years of consolidation experience in a global company
The ability to manage, organise and analyse high volume data
The ability to think commercially, understand business drivers, provide insights, and tell the story behind the numbers
Ability to shape and inform strategy and decision making and influence stakeholders
An eagerness to learn and a passion for improving processes
Ability to use financial IT systems to efficiently deliver service
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
Proficient in data modelling and visualization tools like power Bi, Tableau etc
Experience in TM1, qlikview preferred
