Are you a Finance Analyst with 5+ years experience in cost accounting, budgeting and planning, VAT within and outside EU?This is a WFH role, with one day a month onsite in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.If you have the relevant experience, please forward your CV to [email protected] for review or call 353-1-7978720 to discuss in confidence.Finance Analyst – Biotech Company – DublinJob DescriptionOur client is a leading international Biotechnology company with a state of the art aseptic manufacturing facility in Dun Laoighaire, South Dublin.Manages preparation of budgets, forecasts and Long Range ScenariosProvides support consultancy and financial decision support analysis to various functions, teams and departmentsActively contributes to finance business processes and resolution of issues, representing site specific topics/issuesLiaise with Accounting, Tax, Ops Consolidation FP&A, Site FP&A team and business functionsFP&A/AccountancySupports month-end close and quarterly budget/planning activitiesSupports accounting and tax activities, including corporate tax, VAT, Withholding Tax, CSO filing, monthly tracking and reporting of variancesImplements and tracks productivity metrics to support management reporting and partner with the business to drive efficiencyCommunicates and provides direction to Function heads about financial trends and their business implicationsProvides support for internal and external auditsAdhoc duties as requiredProjectsSupports business analysis and decision-making support, including financial analyses and modelling of “what if” scenariosSupports local and corporate projects, ie streamline VAT and operation processes and reportingRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance or Business AdministrationAt least 5 years’ experience in similar position(s) preferably in an international environmentExperience in cost accounting, budgeting and planning, VAT within and outside EUFluency in English, both in written and oral communicationHigh proficiency with SAP, Hyperion and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)Demonstrated strong technical knowledge of accountancy (local country accounting principles), relevant laws, local taxes and accounting systems/processesMBA and/or CPA highly desirableBiotechnology or Pharmaceutical experience preferredExperience with SAP, EDW, Hyperion planning and reportingIntegrates disciplinary and business strategy knowledge to develop recommendationsEnergetic, flexible team player, with ability to adapt in a changing environmentAbility to collaborate, negotiate and influence cross-functionally to achieve desired outcomes and objectivesStrong planning and organizational skillsHigh attention to detail, works quickly and accuratelyStrong communication skills (written, oral, presentation)Demonstrates capability to learn quickly, being open and flexible to changes, in a multinational environmentAnalyzes and solves complex problems; thinks independentlyDemonstrates excellence in producing accurate workDemonstrates a strong customer focus in all activitiesPackageContract roleHourly Rate €25 – €35 per hourMinimum 12 month contractThis is a Work From Home role, with one day a month onsite in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.ContactKaren McHugh is the consultant managing this position.If you are a Finance Analyst interested in roles based in Dublin , you can contact Karen by e-mail at [email protected] Karen or phone 353 1 9696683 for a confidential chat.JobContax do not send CVs to clients without candidate permission.With over 50 years of technical recruitment experience, JobContax is the leading recruiter of Finance Analysts in Dublin and Ireland.Due to the large volume of applications, JobContax may not be able to respond to every individual.taglife
