ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance & Administration Assistant to join our vibrant team. Working closely with our Finance & Administration Lead and other key stakeholders, you will be at the heart of our financial operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. This role is vital in maintaining our financial integrity, ensuring payroll accuracy, and supporting the business in various finance-related tasks.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a significant volume of data and overseeing various manual processes essential to our finance operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in all tasks. You will play a crucial role in maintaining and processing financial records, supporting administrative functions, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our finance department. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in maintaining and managing payroll processes, ensuring team members are paid accurately and on time.
  • Support payment processes, including booking payments, accounting, invoicing, and approvals, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth business operations.
  • Assist team members with financial tasks and queries, and collaborate with various departments to provide financial support.
  •  Develop skills and knowledge in financial control, with the potential to grow into a controller role. This position offers a pathway for learning and career advancement within the company.
YOU CAN BE A ROCK-STAR IF YOU HAVE
  • Degree in business, accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Focused on outcomes with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A fast learner, not afraid of making mistakes.
  • Driven by climate impact.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Basic understanding of finance procedures and cash flow management.
  • Background in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Knowledge of finance and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with business analytics are a plus.
  • Project management skills, including implementing new tools and processes, are a plus.
  • Experience of Agile working in a startup environment is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

The reason behind our salary range being wide or undefined at the first stages of the interview is because of our international presence and globally distributed workforce, we utilize geo ranges to account for varying pay differentials, forming a crucial part of our global compensation strategy to remain competitive across diverse markets as we expand our reach.

These ranges are determined by role, level, and location, recognizing the nuanced demands of each market.
