• Field Technician (Highways Technology)
• Home-Based covering Berkshire and Hampshire (M3 Corridor)
• Up to £37,000 per year (+ company works vehicle)

The Opportunity: I’m on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to develop their career in Field Service Engineering. You will be trained to conduct installation and maintenance activities on a variety of roadside electronic equipment within your patch (CCTV, ANPR, Sensors, etc.), working alongside a team of experienced engineers to maintain the electrical infrastructure in your patch. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have worked in a roadside environment (Telecoms, Utilities and Traffic Signals) or those coming from the armed forces (Royal Signals & Royal Navy engineers). Skills and Experience:

• A background in installation or maintenance of electrical or electronic equipment
• Willingness to work in a roadside environment and at heights
• Able to undertake night work 1 week in 4 (consisting of x4 10 hour shifts)
• Able to pass basic criminal background checks
• Previous experience working CCTV, ANPR or similar technologies would be beneficial
• Full drivers licence

Role and Responsibilities:

• Carry out installation, commissioning and maintenance activities on all equipment in line with provided schedule
• Undertake software, hardware and systems testing
• Coordinate with the lead engineers to arrange maintenance and inspection schedules
• Adhere to company Health and Safety procedures and produce required documentation
• Manage small projects/tasks, which could include budget, schedule and quality requirements
