Our Neuromodulation business includes implantable devices compatible with mobile technology to help people who suffer from chronic pain and movement disorders. These non-opioid therapies allow us to provide interventional pain therapy to patients throughout the pain continuum.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Field Technical Specialist to join our team at Abbott. This unique role has a profound impact on patients’ lives through providing pre and post procedure education together with intraoperative product support
Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be based in Brisbane and provide technical expertise and support to Health Care Professionals and our Territory Managers.
Responsibilities:
Shared account management and ownership, in consultation with the Territory Manager
Provide clinical support to patients
Attend theatre cases and provide technical support on Abbott Products
Liaising with Territory Management re Neuromodulation promotion, product, therapies, service and support
Providing market feedback on product and competitor activity
Maintaining technical competency through training and education including knowledge of therapies and procedures
Developing and maintaining relationships and delivering a high level of service delivery
Skills/Experience required:
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline equivalent: Bachelor’s degree in bio medical /medical technology/science preferred
Experience in the clinical support of medical devices is highly regarded but not essential
An ability to demonstrate a high degree of technical capability
