Our client is a growing packaging business that has been trading for over 40 years. Due to their success and growth they are adding to their external sales/field sales team.They focus on their business culture of positivity and celebration and the company prides itself on its high tenured staff.Reporting to the Sales Director for all areas of Sales and Administration and liaising between Customers and Production to fulfil customer needs and requirements.This challenging role will involve the effective planning and execution of sales and is aimed at increasing the company profile. The role will involve travel throughout Ireland as part of a sales team.Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Services existing customers
  • Generate quotes as per customer requirements and order processing
  • Provide weekly activity reports to Sales Director
  • Managing incoming customer enquiries / complaints and problem solving, in a timely manner
  • Conduct Customer reviews
  • Maintain and update customer database
  • Maintain weekly stock sheets and call off reports
  • Assist / complete deliveries, when required
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, etc
  • Develop new Business and maximise growth and profitability in new and existing customers
  • Complete Sales visits to gather information and samples for further quotation and follow up

Sales Administration

  • Support Sales Director and Sales Team
  • Ensure accurate information is communicated within the team
  • Complete initial specs, purchase orders & job cards for customer files
  • Maintain weekly Call Sheets & Monthly Progress Reports
  • Progress customers artwork to final approval in a timely manner
  • Liaise between customers, sales representatives and accounts to ensure all Invoices are paid promptly

Skills / Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in packaging or food field sales
  • Full drivers licence
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Meeting Sales goals / targets
  • Good Negotiation and Presentation Skills
  • Self Confidence
  • Product knowledge
  • Motivation for Sales
