We are looking for a Field Application Specialist Bioreactor Technologies (F/M) home based in Belgium. In this role you will support our customers to implement, optimize and troubleshoot the use of Sartorius bioprocessing products in the manufacturing of life-saving drugs.Please apply in English only.Grow with us – Your ResponsibilitiesUtilize your expert knowledge to effectively position Sartorius solutions and capabilities, including product presentations and product demonstrationsProvide process and product training to our Sales team and to customers in the biopharmaceutical industryCollaborate with scientists in the biopharmaceutical industry and jointly execute product trials to demonstrate the capability to meet specific application needsAnalyze and further optimize processes together with our clientsCooperate with Field Application Specialists from other disciplines to help our customers to improve their process end to endAssist the sales team to understand customers applications and processes to define pragmatic strategies to further enhance customers` supportSupport the development of strong relationships with accounts within the assigned sales territory in order to follow up and develop new opportunities.What will convince usMinimum a Bachelor’s degree in biological engineering or life sciences, PhD is a plusSeveral years of biopharmaceutical industry experience, R&D/PD/Scale-up/GMP preferredTheoretical and practical expertise in cell culture, bioreactor, upstream bioprocessingHands on experience with single-use technologies as bags, mixers, connections/disconnections for media preparation is beneficialGeneral understanding of the phases of equipment and process validationKnowledge of project management principlesExcellent oral and written communication skills in English and French, Dutch is a plusAbility to travel in the assigned territory (up to 60%)Identification with our core values: Sustainability, Openness, EnjoymentAbout SartoriusSartorius is part of the solution in the fight against cancer, dementia, and many other diseases.
