About The Opportunity

In this role, you will be a critical contributor in the shaping of the Airline Sourcing & Category Management offering from FCM Consulting. This includes being responsible for the oversight, delivery, and overall success of existing and new client projects related to their air programs. You will maintain exceptional relationships with airlines and will be working with clients and internal stakeholders during various aspects of the RFP process and ongoing performance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate Airline Request for Proposal (RFP) projects from clients and internal teams. This includes organizing data collection, input, managing timelines, and developing end-result presentations to the clients.
  • Lead the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the proposal process.
  • Standardize proposal/SOW templates by utilizing style guides, consistent messaging, relevant industry content, and ensuring product / service content is always current.
  • Direct completion of internal proprietary airline sourcing tool development, with short-, medium-, and long-term vision and deliverables.
  • Pursue automation within current process by leveraging various tools and provide closed-loop feedback to ensure continuous process optimization.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, Product, Project Management, and Account Management teams to establish ongoing competitive analyses and best practices.
  • Work with Marketing to publish relevant white papers and best practice reports.
  • Represent FCM in client forums, industry events, and press related to all aspects of corporate airline programs.

Experience & Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. plus 8+ years airline analytics, pricing, or sourcing experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in an internal or external customer service capacity, with a positive, “can-do attitude.”
  • Industry experience in B2B environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • The discipline to work alone and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a global, high-performance team.
  • Analytical approach with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects while maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Strong presentation and content development skills, with the ability to turn numbers into a story.
  • Ability to think on your feet, develop and communicate insight.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $90,000- $120,000. Base salary is dependent on relevant factors, including experience, geographic location, and job requirements.
