The Facilities Management (FM) role at CBRE focuses on managing facilities and technical services for client-owned properties. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations, maintenance, and development of building services. Key objectives are risk and compliance mitigation, sustainability improvements, client and customer satisfaction, and contractor performance.

The FM will collaborate with the CBRE Property teams and maintain high standards of personal presentation and communication. The role suits a motivated, collaborative individual who is eager to learn and engage proactively with various stakeholders.

The Opportunity:

  • Understand and meet the requirements of the Service Level Agreement and KPIs, and actively support the team’s service delivery.

  • Oversee the maintenance and proper care of building operations, systems, facilities, and installations in accordance with policies and procedures.

  • Manage assets, ensure contractor compliance, handle compliance testing, and maintain current emergency response plans.

  • Assist in procurement processes, budget preparation, and respond to client information requests while supporting property teams.

  • Complete required training, act within legal and business practice parameters, efficiently use resources, adhere to policies, and contribute to a positive company culture.

About you:

  • Intermediate to advanced level in core Microsoft packages – word, excel, outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Customer service focus and performance outcome orientation with all colleagues and at all levels.

  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the property industry / building facilities / management role particularly focused on sophisticated commercial and industrial properties.

  • Tertiary qualification in a property / technical / facilities field (or relevant trade courses).

  • WHS General Induction for Construction Work or equivalent.
