Position Summary:

The position will be located at the Ringaskiddy site and will be part of the Make Asset Management (MAM) Group. Its main responsibility will be to act as a primary point of contact for Execution Systems (ES) for the four main Manufacturing Business Units at Johnson & Johnson, Cork. The position will be accountable for leading a team of Engineers in the delivery of ES requirements within the Business Units including Front Line Support, New Product Introduction and Project Execution.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Primary interface for Technical, Support & Strategy Leads to ensure standardization of deployment across the business units
• Management & development (e.g., 5 conversations, technical ladders) of the ES Business Unit Leads
• Overall accountability for delivery of ES specific KPI’s for the Business Units
• Accountable for major system project delivery across the Business Units
• Lead the translation of the Site & MAM cascades into the Business Unit ES priorities
• Identify and lead across Business Unit CIP/JJPS activities
• Member of the OLT to represent the views of ES from an operational perspective
• Management of the float resources across the Business Units & prioritization of activities
• Ownership of the Business Unit ES Budgets & Forecasts
• Prioritization of projects in collaboration with Technical Leads
• Primary ES point of contact for operational projects that impact the Business Units

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

Essential

• Third level Degree in engineering, science or an IT discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of Leadership and Delivery Execution
• Minimum of 8 years of experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP regulated manufacturing environment.

Desirable

• Experience in supervision/management of people and resources
• In-depth Technical knowledge of S95 Level 1 systems such as Emerson DeltaV, OSI Pi, PLCs, IT Infrastructure & Hardware.
• Key appreciation of Industrial Automation Networks and their Communication Protocols.
• Strong MES (preferably in Werum PAS-X) and DeltaV Batch Control experience along with process knowledge for Upstream, Downstream and Bio Processing Support functions.
• Good understanding of S95 level 4 systems and their capabilities such as ERP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses & CDL.
• In-depth understanding of the ISA S95 & S88 standards and how they should be used within the Global Supply Chain
• Good appreciation of Industry 4.0/IoT and how we can effectively drive to transform within this framework
• Good understanding of the developing Digital World to transform Biopharma
