We are EVERSANA.Job DescriptionTHE POSITION:The European Tax Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely VAT and income tax compliance across European and other global entities. This role involves working closely with the Director, Global Tax, the global finance team, and external tax advisors to implement tax planning strategies. The European Tax Manager will also manage tax audits and inquiries and ensure compliance with local tax regulations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:

• Ensure accurate and timely filing of VAT and income tax returns for European and other global entities
• Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure compliance with local tax regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and related analysis
• Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to gather and analyze data required for transfer pricing calculations
• Provide regular updates and reports to the Director, Global Tax on the status of tax compliance and planning initiatives
• Support the Director, Global tax on tax audits and inquiries from regulatory agencies
• Collaborate closely with the Director, Global Tax to align European tax strategies with global tax objectives

• Travel – Under 5%
• Hours – 40+, typically Monday – Friday

• Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• Experience and/or Training – 8-10 years of experience in tax compliance; 5+ years’ experience with tax compliance in multiple EU jurisdictions; Experience with VAT compliance; Experience with transfer pricing in complex Global company; Public Accounting experience required
• Licenses/Certificates – ACCA or equivalent
• Technology/Equipment – Experience in the use of complex spreadsheets, accounting, and tax systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience and/or Training – Must thrive in a team environment; Experience with tax compliance in Ireland, UK, and Italy
• Technology/Equipment – Experience with Microsoft D365 preferred
