RoleWe are an expanding global Organization and is seeking a comprehensive BA to join our IT team to help define business problems and execute, recommend, and deliver strategic improvementsHow will I spend my time in this role?
- Investigate business situations where there is some complexity and ambiguity.
- Taking responsibility to deliver change and improvements on efficiency and strengthen the Business processes.
- Adopt holistic view to identify and analyse problem and opportunities.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to get the information required for feasibility assessment.
- Document artefacts to help define and manage scoping requirements definition and prioritisation activities for strategic and complex IT projects.
- Develop models and diagrams to represent and communicate data requirements and data assets.
- Conduct root cause and identify recommendations for improvements.
- Follow Agile framework and implement best practice
What skills/experience do I need to be successful?
- At least 2 years’ in the energy sector with experience in producing functional analyses for Trading Operations.
- Exposure or bit of experience Business Analyst role with direct exposure to complex ETRM implementation projects
- Experienced in applying modelling languages to analyse and document designs
- Hands-on software configuration experience in complex information system context (ETRM)
- Experience in setting up automated software development lifecycle.
- Strong analytical and structured way of thinking, high organizational skills and IT affinity
- Experience of data and business process modelling
- Experience and knowledge of capturing the requirements.
- Ability to plan own data modelling and design activities, selecting appropriate techniques to meet the assigned objectives.
