We have an exciting remote opportunity for an Ethics & Compliance Officer, Operations to join our team!
What You Will Do:
As an Ethics & Compliance Officer (ECO), the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the ethics & compliance program for the Operations organization. Reporting to the Lead Sr. ECO, Operations and Quality, the candidate must be comfortable working in a team environment and collaborating seamlessly with colleagues and internal clients to deliver practical and compliant business solutions on complicated ethics and compliance issues.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Incumbent’s responsibilities will generally focus on the following:
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to mitigate and reduce compliance risks within Operations and support Operations employees at various sites
- Utilize and engage GECs program management and E&C investigation teams for E&C program enhancements, consistency and efficiency with program implementation
- Be visible (virtually or otherwise) and approachable for Operations employees globally. Develop a plan to visit Operations sites as needed for E&C support (including training, investigations, etc.)
- Continually enhance and improve P&Ws’ Ethics and “Speak Up” culture
- Adhere to and maintain a heightened awareness of RTX’s Code of Conduct
- Evaluate and provide guidance related to compliance with policies and procedures. For example: Outside Employment evaluations, Conflict of Interest questions, Annual Certification variant response reviews, Business Gift & Sponsorship requests
- Develop, collaborate and grow Operations Local ECO infrastructure and SMEs, HR/IR, etc. networks
- Lead or support E&C investigations and/or improvement activities. Ensure timely and effective completion and closure of investigations and implementation of appropriate corrective actions and fair, consistent evaluations, including disciplinary measures (working with HR, Legal Counsel, Site Management and other stakeholders)
- Analyze data, metrics and trends to identify continuous improvement activities
- Assess training needs and develop a plan for proactive activities (i.e., focus groups)
- Support efforts to ensure proper reporting of violations to duly authorized enforcement agencies as appropriate
- Work with and support HR, other ECOs, investigators, Local ECOs or other Subject Matter Experts on matter investigations as necessary
- Coordinate, lead and support Operations Compliance briefings with Senior leaders within Operations, P&W and RTX
- Support the P&W Global Ethics & Compliance Officer, DGECO, Lead Sr ECO for Operations and Quality and RTX Compliance in the performance of other tasks as assigned
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in ethics, operations and/or compliance; OR an advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in ethics, operations and/or compliance
- US Citizenship required, due to government contracts, programs and projects

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD – 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
