The Role
Stryker is looking for an Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Manager to play a crucial role in helping the company operate responsibly and sustainably, by developing and implementing an ESG strategy aligned with industry standards and company goals.

Responsibilities:
The ESG Manager will be responsible for driving the sustainability initiatives for the business. Key duties for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Develop, implement and maintain an ESG strategy for tracking, measuring, and reporting ESG metrics and performance indicators which is aligned with industry best practices and company objectives.
Conduct gap assessments to identify business risks and opportunities based on regulatory requirements.
Establish high standards of corporate governance , ethics, and transparency, embedding these into the risk management framework.
Build and manager relationships with internal, cross-functional and global stakeholders to communicate ESG initiatives.
Identify opportunities to minimize environmental footprint and promote sustainable practices.
Engage and educate staff through participating in our Environment & Sustainability Employee Resource Group.
Prepare and disseminate ESG disclosures and reports (including, mandatory climate reporting and modern slavery report), ensuring accuracy and compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.
What you need:
Minimum 7 years’ experience as a SME in ESG Sustainability, Corporate Responsibility and local Reporting requirements.
Strong knowledge and experience working with the ESG frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, SASB etc
Proven experience developing and implementing ESG Strategies
Qualification in a relevant field such as Environmental Science, Sustainability
Excellent relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to take initiative and actively problem solve
Excellent time, task and organisational management skills
Strong detail orientation.
