We currently have a vacancy for an Enterprise Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on siteYour tasks

• Supervise the implementation of the technical architecture, including an analysis of the integration and interoperability of different existing open-source software building blocks that will be included in the cloud architecture;
• Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance. Evaluate business architecture models that reflect the organization’s strategies and goals;
• Steer/inspect/validate the software architecture documents;
• Evaluate systems for discrepancies or vulnerabilities;
• Assist during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting.

Requirements

• University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Excellent knowledge of cloud architecture frameworks such as OVH, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
• Excellent knowledge of Infrastructure as code, DevOps pipelines for cloud native applications and container-based technologies such as Kubernetes, and Docker;
• Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman, and actual experience developing and building models based on such framework;
• Excellent knowledge of enterprise architecture notations such as ArchiMate and BPMN as well as tools such as ARIS;
• Extensive experience with enterprise architecture best practices and goals;
• Practical knowledge of (Open-Source) data sharing tools (EDC, Gaia-X, others), models and standards (W3C DID, W3C DCAT, W3C ODRL, …);
• Good knowledge of microservices and architecture in the cloud;
• Good knowledge of applications design and Enterprise Architecture;
• Good knowledge of modelling tools;
• Good knowledge of Relational DBMS;
• Good knowledge of interoperability technologies at cloud infrastructure level but also at service level (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture);
• Knowledge of security mechanisms for cloud architectures (e.g., IdP);
• Excellent knowledge of Application Management Lifecycle;
• Experience in Agile Development as well as agile toolbox (i.e., JIRA, Confluence etc.);
• Any of the following Certifications would be considered an asset: Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP) certification, Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Project Management Professional (PMP), PMI, PRINCE2 Foundation, Certified in PM2, ITIL v4 Certification, OVHcloud Certified Master, or OVHcloud Certified Specialist, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).
• Excellent command of the English language.
