Engineering Operations Opportunities in IrelandWe’re seeking highly motivated professionals to join a fast-growing, innovative engineering team in Ireland. With a flexible hybrid working model, these roles offer an incredible opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies that enhance efficiency and productivity. We’re hiring for two positions, one focusing on Tools and Releases, and the other on Infrastructure and Tools-both critical to enabling the success of modern, scalable systems.What You’ll Do:
– Develop, enhance, and automate tools and processes to drive engineering productivity and improve efficiency.
– Administer and optimize engineering tools such as GitHub Enterprise, Jira, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
– Build and maintain Linux-based development environments, including virtualization (e.g., Docker, KVM, or VMWare) and containerization.
– Manage static analysis tools (e.g., Coverity, Code Sonar) and vulnerability scanning (e.g., Snyk, Black Duck) to ensure compliance with ISO standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 27001.
– Oversee cloud infrastructure and cost optimization strategies for scalable environments.
– Contribute to build and test pipelines, release engineering, and system monitoring using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
– Create dashboards, documentation, and reports for enhanced visibility and operational insights.
– Provide mentorship, fostering growth and best practices among junior engineers.What You’ll Bring:
– Proven experience in EngOps, DevOps, IT, or networking, with at least 8+ years in similar roles.
– Advanced skills in Linux system administration, Ethernet networking, and troubleshooting.
– Proficiency in Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages for automation.
– Hands-on experience with Git, branching strategies, Docker, and CI/CD tools.
– Knowledge of OSS tools, build ecosystems (e.g., make, cmake), and cloud services like AWS or GCP.
