Job Summary

As the Engineering Manager, you’ll lead and shape the maintenance strategy for our Tatura site. From overseeing capital projects to driving innovation and sustainability, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact at a global leader in FMCG.

  • Base salary starting at $170k (negotiable) + super + bonuses

    Role Responsibilities :

  • Lead the site engineering function, focusing on safety, quality, and performance.

  • Foster a continuous improvement culture by following Manex principles, mentoring and leading by example.

  • Develop and manage the annual capital budget including overseeing technical teams to deliver capital projects that enhance capacity, innovation, efficiency, and waste reduction.

  • Oversee the Professional Maintenance (PM) pillar of the Unilever.

  • Manufacturing Systems (UMS).

  • Develop and implement Standard Maintenance Processes (SMPs).

  • Oversee the Emergency Work Order (EWO) process.

  • Manage Repair and Maintenance (R&M) budgets for labour and materials.

  • Improve site infrastructure, including driving sustainability for the site to meet decarbonisation targets.

  • Ensure site compliance with legal and regulatory requirements/accreditations.

  • A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronic Engineering.

  • Proven experience in maintenance leadership, ideally within FMCG.

  • A track record of delivering significant capital projects end-to-end.
