Location: Greater Manchester (WA15 3DN) – Due to move to Hindley Green from July.
Salary: £52,216.32 per annum + commission opportunities
Shifts: Monday to Friday 36.5 hours on days
Contract Type: PermanentThe CompanyA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Engineering Compliance Manager to join the Testing & Quality department of one of the UK’s leading Electrical Manufacturer’s.To lead all aspects of the Custom Solutions activity and committed to ensuring that products are with customers in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.As an Engineering Compliance Manager your duties will be:
- Manage a skilled team, ensuring day to day business is ran smoothly.
- Performance and quality management
- Ensuring maximum output of products in a safe, accurate and efficient manner.
- Responsible for the safekeeping, maintenance and upkeep of any tools and equipment.
- Providing all local & HQ reportable statistics each month.
- Measuring & recording / displaying all local KPI data relative to Custom Solutions product.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety, Environment, Quality Management and Human Resources.
The successful Engineering Compliance Manager will have the following skills;
- Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred but must have as a minimum an HND (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering.
- High capability in electrical & mechanical fault finding essential.
- Ability to read and interpret Schematics / Wiring Diagrams and associated technical drawings.
- Ability to test & fault find relative to complex Control Panels.
- Full understanding of single & three phase circuit protection installations.
- Knowledge and experience of wiring & testing relative to complex Control Panels.
- Communication skills and the ability to integrate into a specialised team, working closely with Custom Solutions Leadership is essential.
Expected salary
£60000 per year
