The successful candidate will lead on the development, delivery and management of a range of renewable and energy efficiency projects for the Housing Revenue Account (HRA).You will support and assist the delivery of Corporate Plan, Net Zero & Circular Economy ambitions, alongside the city-wide Housing Strategy and the Fuel Poverty & Affordable Warmth Plan.The post-holder will work as part of a team to meet corporate priorities within the strategic framework of Brighton & Hove City Council, in addition to leading key home energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, ensuring robust budget monitoring, compliance reporting and programme delivery.Interview date: March 2025 (TBC)For an informal discussion, please contact Miles Davidson – Housing Sustainability & Energy Manager, email:About the roleThis is a key role within the Council’s housing service, the successful candidate will lead on the delivery of a number of projects that increase our renewable energy capacity and improves the energy efficiency of our housing stock, supporting our net zero ambitions and helping to tackle fuel poverty.The successful candidate will work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners and stakeholders to identify opportunities, funding and deliverable energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. You will use data to evidence investment opportunities and to demonstrate benefits, from project initiation through delivery and evaluation.Please read our pages carefully.
