The dedicated team provide a speedy response to any service breakdown while delivering excellent care, so our guests can relax knowing they’re being taken care of.ELECTRICIAN | Circa €41,500 per annumWe are looking to appoint a Maintenance Technician / Electrician to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you will attend call outs to guest accommodation as well as general buildings around the Village. You will carry out tasks to resolve maintenance issues, reporting any defects or issues which may cause future problems.Other responsibilities will include undertaking inspections, carrying out planned preventative maintenance and assisting with any other general work as briefed by Technical Services Management.The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills as you will regularly come into contact with both colleagues and guests. Trade experience is essential as technical knowledge will be required.HOURS OF WORKYou will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. Shifts will fall between 6am and 2:30pm.As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.ABOUT YOUEssential requirements:

• Experience in the implementation and use of the National Rules for Electrical Installations based on ET101
• A current full Irish/EU, Class B (+E), Drivers Licence
• NFQ Level 6 Advanced Certificate Craft – Electrical or demonstrable equivalent (i.e. National Craft Certificate)

Desirable Requirements

• Electrical Testing and Verification of Electrical Installations (Qualified Certifier) Course
• Registered Electrical Contractor with Safe Electric
• Portable Appliance Testing Course
• City & Guilds 9848-51 Certificate in High Voltage Operational Safety or a High Voltage Safety Awareness
