Job description
A fantastic opportunity has come available for an experienced Electrician to join a leading Clare employer.My client is seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the maintenance of complex electrical infrastructure in a diverse and challenging environment.As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective monitoring and maintenance of various electrical infrastructural assets. This role involves planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance in a range of areas, including building services, fire alarm systems, HVAC, lifts/escalators, car park systems, street lighting, and more.The Position

- Initially starting off on days whilst training then working a shift pattern of 2 days, 2 nights and 4 days off.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform planned, reactive, and emergency maintenance on electrical infrastructural assets.
- Maintain high standards of work in monitoring, reporting, and maintenance of electrical assets to specified regulations.
- Conduct critical asset repairs, inspections, and health checks of systems.
- Utilise and promote the use of the asset management CMMS.
- Regularly monitor Electrical Scada Systems.
- Provide support to Airport Facilities Management.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Electrical trade apprenticeship and relevant trade certificates.
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience as a fully qualified industrial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems design, operations, and maintenance, preferably with exposure to high-voltage systems.
- Experience in highly regulated and safety-critical working environments.
- Familiarity with regulations impacting maintenance works.
- Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
- Competent IT skills, including proficiency in Windows-based software.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on accountability.
- High attention to detail and quality of work.
- Full Clean Class B License.
