You are an experienced Electrical HV/MV Project Manager looking to join a leading engineering and construction companies Power Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile infrastructure projects, ensuring successful delivery from concept through commissioning and handover based out of Co Kildare/ Co Dublin.You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, manage diverse stakeholders, and drive projects that are critical to the development of energy infrastructure.You will manage HV/MV projects, including:
- Design and construction of new substations and grid connections for renewable energy projects such as wind and solar farms.
- Upgrades to existing substations and national grid assets.
- Development of new substations and grid connections for data center projects.
- Design and construction of overhead power lines.
- Installation of underground power cables.

- Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer (Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with HV/MV projects in a Tier 1 Electrical Contractor setting.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing complex HV/MV projects, including:
- Safety, health, and environmental management.
- Design management for EirGrid/ESBN projects.
- Procurement of major equipment and resources.
- Effective project planning, programming, and resourcing.
- Commercial and contract negotiations.
- QA/QC and commissioning protocols.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills, with a proven ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering innovative solutions.
HV/MV Project Manager Skills:
- Lead project delivery from initial work winning through to commissioning and handover.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, including designers, contractors, and key stakeholders like EirGrid and ESBN.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards across all projects.
- Oversee project design management, ensuring alignment with EirGrid/ESBN parameters.
- Manage procurement and logistics for major equipment.
- Plan, program, and resource projects to achieve milestones within budget.
- Handle commercial and contract management, ensuring project profitability.
- Drive QA/QC processes and lead commissioning efforts to meet client specifications.
