As they prepare to establish themselves as an industry leader, they are seeking a talented EHS Engineer to join their team and drive forward their commitment to excellence in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS). As an EHS Engineer for our client’s Health Care business, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees while supporting the company’s goals for innovation and growth. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams and make a significant impact by initiating and completing safety-related activities, leading risk management efforts, and promoting an EHS excellence culture within the organization.Responsibilities:Initiate and complete activities leading to new/improved safety methods with significant impact potential at project level.Participate in training, audits, incident reporting, assessments, and safety projects.Develop a network of support to facilitate completion of assignments across different teams.Provide safety consulting services and analyze/report key health and safety data to senior level co-workers.Collaborate with management to define project parameters and develop correction plans.Lead activities relating to Risk Management by managing site risk assessment schedule and driving continuous improvement initiatives.Potentially lead teams within the assigned business unit, providing technical assistance and guidance to others.Determine processes relating to Management of Change to ensure EHS requirements are considered for all new projects.Create an EHS excellence culture by promoting and supporting the site’s sustainability and environmental management program.Support business units and EHS Champions to interpret and understand EHS requirements and monitor compliance.Requirements:EHS Degree or equivalent qualification; NEBOSH General Certificate preferred.Strong understanding and implementation experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 requirements..At least 2-3 years of experience working within a busy manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical environment.High level of interpersonal skills for effective communication and collaboration.Commitment to promoting an EHS excellence culture and supporting sustainability initiatives within the organization.FULL SPEC ON APPLICATIONIf you are interested in learning more about this fantastic opportunity, please contact Cathal Herron:(090) 645 0660
