Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and highly qualified Education Expert with a master’s degree in Education and extensive expertise in the fields of education, child rights and participation, equity, disability inclusion, and gender equality. The Education Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs and policies that promote inclusive and equitable education for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Design and Implementation:

    • Develop and implement educational programs that prioritize child rights and participation, equity, disability inclusion, and gender equality.
    • Ensure that educational programs are aligned with international and national standards and best practices.
  2. Policy Development and Advocacy:

    • Contribute to the development of policies and strategies that promote inclusive and equitable education.
    • Advocate for the rights of children, particularly those with disabilities and those from marginalized groups, to ensure their access to quality education.
  3. Monitoring and Evaluation:

    • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the effectiveness and impact of educational programs.
    • Prepare detailed reports and presentations on program outcomes and recommendations for improvement.
  4. Capacity Building:

    • Provide training and capacity-building support to educators, school administrators, and other stakeholders on inclusive education practices.
    • Develop and disseminate educational resources and materials that support inclusive and equitable education.
  5. Collaboration and Partnerships:

    • Collaborate with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to promote inclusive education.
    • Participate in networks and forums related to education, child rights, equity, disability inclusion, and gender equality.
  6. Research and Innovation:

    • Conduct research on best practices and innovative approaches to inclusive and equitable education.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the field of education and integrate them into program design and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • Extensive expertise and experience in education, child rights and participation, equity, disability inclusion, and gender equality.
  • Strong knowledge of international and national education standards and best practices.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs.
  • Excellent communication, advocacy, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to promoting inclusive and equitable education for all children.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and international organizations.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Experience in conducting research and publishing findings in academic or professional journals.
