Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

• Permanent, full time position located in Brisbane, QLD.

• Extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of pay rate.

The Driver / Warehouse personnel is responsible for the preparation and despatch of sample containers and delivery / collections of such at client’s work site or office.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Sample container delivery and sample pickup

• Labelling of all containers for clients and washing of containers

• Dosing of containers that require preservatives

• Cleaning of all eskies and despatch of eskies (to clients and Eurofins satellite offices)

• Filling of DI water

• Completing and despatching of sample container orders

• Loading and unloading of items (from delivery trucks)

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Hold and maintain an open drivers licence registered in QLD.

• Able to comfortably operate a vehicle to perform client pick up orders across South East QLD.

• Strong interpersonal skills to engage in casual conversation with clients at pick up sites.

• Able to comfortably drive in a range of different conditions, including but not limited to: driving in the rain, driving within the CBD, driving in peak hour traffic, driving on open highways etc.

• Desire to continually learn and improve.

• Ability to be a hands-on worker with a common sense approach.

• Obtain full working rights in Australia.
