Salary £28,000 – £32,000 DOE plus commission, on-call & overtime (circa £1000 per month)
On-call 1 in 3 weekendsMetro Rod work with the likes of Tesco, Marks and Spencer, Mitie, Clarion, Axa, Wetherspoons and many more in the FM, Social Housing, Property Management, Retail, Industrial and Leisure sectors. Two expanding businesses that focus on sewage pumps and commercial kitchen solutions. Together, the brands provide a complete one-stop shop for keeping water and waste flowing.What does it entail?

• Carrying out a range of services associated with the cleaning, clearance, repair and maintenance of our customers’ drains
• Operation of High-Pressure Water Jetting Equipment in line with rigorous safety standards
• Carrying out surveys
• Providing an exceptional standard of customer service and technical expertise
• Accurately recording work/job details via a range of bespoke internal/client systems and applications
• Communicate effectively with high profile commercial and domestic clients and Metro Rod Support Centre colleagues to ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times
• Being part of an on-call rota to help service our clients 24/7 / 365 days a year.

What experience do we look for?Please note that we are open to taking on a Trainee Drainage Engineer who has a background in civils/ground working drainage who would like to take the step into commercial and domestic drainage.

• High pressure water jetting and confined spaces experience
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in domestic & commercial drainage
• Excellent problem-solving ability with sound technical knowledge
• Have a positive, flexible, can-do attitude
• Want to be part of a growing and progressive business
• Be willing to work some unsociable hours
• Full UK driving licence
• Must live in the Gloucester area
