To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.HOTEL SERVICES DEPARTMENTDOMESTIC ASSISTANTBand 2 – £23,362 to £25,368 pro rataPlus £1,043 Distant Island Allowance pro rata24.7 hrs per weekPermanent Contract4pm – 9pm (Mon-Fri)The opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Assistant post, to join our Domestic Services Team within the Dental Centre and the Western Isles Hospital, Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, HS2 9JP.The succesful candidate will provide a cleaning service to patients, staff and visitors through the use of effective and efficient methods, which deliver a safe and welcoming environment, and to meet the required standards, as per the National Cleaning Services Specification.To work alongside and support new staff in the working environment.The primary work base will be within the Dental Centre, Macaulay Road, Stornoway, Isles of Lewis, HS1 2TJThe successful candidate will need to achieve the Mandatory Induction Standards for Healthcare Support Workers and comply with the Code of Conduct within three months of full time employment or up to six months for part time workers.
