We currently have a vacancy for a Documentation and Training Specialist fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.Your tasks

  • Producing/maintaining training material (wiki pages, collaborative site pages, etc.);
  • Configuring and testing the system for the training scenarios to be used;
  • Provide guidance using social networks;
  • Support users in the review process of the documentation;
  • QA review of training material to ensure the defined standards and procedures are being followed;
  • Prepare Storyboards;
  • Review of training material specifically videos with audio recordings;
  • Design graphics that can be updated and reused when needed;
  • Publish material, while adhering to the publication standards and privacy standards.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in IT;
  • Experience with writing, maintaining and updating code developed with JavaScript;
  • Experience with writing SQL requests and process the results;
  • Very good knowledge of building training material;
  • Good knowledge of JavaScript “Vanilla”/jQuery, HTML, CSS, Ajax;
  • Knowledge of ICT infrastructure technologies, MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word, Firefox or Chrome or Edge, Windows 10;
  • Proficient understanding of instructional design theories methodologies and best practices, including interactive online teaching methods;
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Confluence, Jira as well as APIs and Python would be an asset;
  • Excellent command of the English language.
