What we look forWe seek a high-energy, experienced leader who combines expertise in demand generation marketing with exceptional skills in communication, organization and managing teams and stakeholders. This role will be responsible for driving go-to-market strategies and campaigns in the EMEA market for Johnson Controls (“JCI”) and leading a team of marketers across multiple countries.The ideal candidate is ambitious, a good communicator and educator, collaborative and ready to roll up their sleeves as JCI continues to grow. The leader will champion a culture of growth, collaboration and ROI marketing.The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role across all businesses and be a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team. He/she will drive digitally enabled marketing campaigns to direct selling motions in the field based on business priorities with a strong focus on create/Capture/Convert/Expand demand with customers.How will you do it

  • Serve as champion for all demand generating activities with a specific focus on digital execution (SEO, marketing automation, social media, etc.).
  • Partner with regional general managers, commercial leaders and in-country leaders to deliver impactful campaigns that deliver results along all stages of the customer life cycle.
  • Work with field teams and marketing center of excellence to develop value propositions for target customers into local campaigns, alongside large regional deployments driving new product/solution introductions, vertical market focus and specific service offerings.
  • Lead and support a team of approximately 20 marketing professionals.
  • Partner with P&L owners to manage distributed budget for the function.
  • Work collaboratively with field marketing, sales and services to ensure holistic view of demand generation activity and ensure connectedness across efforts.
  • Define plan for in-market events – virtual/webinars, tradeshows, proprietary events and networking activities.
  • Report out regularly on KPIs, results and progress related to each stage of funnel.
  • Build and nuture relationships in account management and drive an account-based marketing activities.

What we look forRequired

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and initiatives around digital marketing
  • Deep understanding of demand generation including lead scoring, MQL/SQL handoffs and CRM systems in a distributed, multi-line of business environment.
  • Ability to develop effective marketing programs understanding the trends and issues facing marketers in the digital age.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and presents convincingly to peers, executives, partners, and customers.
  • Exceptional enterprise leadership skills in a dynamic and fast growing organization.
  • Good knowledge of CRM and marketing technologies to drive productivity and execution excellence
  • Strong project management skills with ability to create organized project plans to reflect workstreams, milestones, dependencies and resources.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, including the ability to synthesize complex and technical information into clear recommendations and courses of actions.
  • Efficient and effective relationship builder in a remote working environment.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
