We have an exciting new remote opportunity for a Digital Technologies Project Manager.

What You Will Do:

  • Communicate and manage project vision with project leadership team to ensure an understanding of the plan and scope, in conjunction with the company’s commitments and customer expectations.
  • Lead project teams through proper Agile practices within the overall Pratt & Whitney agile transformation strategy.
  • Conduct full Agile ceremony, including sprint planning, grooming, stand-ups, demos and retrospectives to ensure value is provided to the customer/requestor and business objectives and goals are met.
  • Maintain healthy backlog of well written stories that are development ready.

Work with developers and Product Management for effective story point estimating.

  • Work with development team and product manager for effort estimation.

Build highly effective project teams and establish effective relationships with impacted departments and functional areas.

  • Communicate expectations and instill accountability in team members.

Resolve conflicts, promote work sharing, and motivate teams toward common goals.

  • Escalation of issues, along with proposed plan, to leadership.
  • Make timely and sound business decisions that support the business objectives of Pratt & Whitney Aerospace.
  • Summarize and present key information to senior leadership enabling them to make decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects, tasks, and resources through effective organization, prioritization, and time management practices to meet operational objectives.

Participate in continuous process improvement and lean initiatives.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least 8 years of relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Experience with application lifecycle management platforms such as Team Foundation Server, Jira, Azure Dev Ops or similar tools.
  • Experience building and managing schedules in MS Project.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for this position because of systems supported.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or other project management methodologies.
  • Project Management certification.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

  • This requisition is eligible for an employee referral award. ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the referral award.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD – 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
