Digital Marketing Assistant – WPEP Scheme – ISPCA (Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals)
The successful participant will assist and be trained in the following: Creating strong content for digital platforms to include scheduling of activity, and selection of imagery, layout and design in line with agreed plans and timelines. How to monitor, create and analyse digital traffic flow continually working and monitoring SEO. How to research, plan, coordinate and monitor ISPCA digital material. Updating website content and social media posts on all digital platforms (facebook, twitter, Instagram etc.) How to use email marketing (e.g. Mail chimp), and CRM systems e.g. Thank Q, and Google AdWords. Improving digital analytics and reporting skills by using various tools and metrics e.g. ROI, CTR, Bounce Rates, Unique visits, Ranking etc. How to work cross-functionally as required, by communicating with various departments about upcoming events and the sourcing of copy/images. Supporting the PR manager and assisting at various events and photo calls. How to ensure compliance with data protection, maintaining confidentiality and following ISPCA policies and procedures including health and safety at all times. Assisting in other duties, administrative support and occasional work at weekends at various events as necessary to learn how to provide effective support when required. The successful participant will gain experience in, and will be trained in the following: • Social Media training using Canva for creating digital marketing assets. • Training provided on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, Mailchimp etc. • Photography and video training techniques provided for content creation. • Audience and targeting analysis. • Website and database updates • Creativity, Communication Skills, and Teamwork. No experience is necessary.Role Description This is a training and work experience opportunity; no prior experience in this role is necessary. Accredited and/or sector recognised training will be provided to support your placement. Participants are eligible to participate in the WPEP QQI Work Experience Module which was developed by the Education & Training Boards in collaboration with the Department of Social Protection. This optional module will fulfil your accredited training requirements for the WPEP. Formal Training: – Manual Handling Training – WPEP QQI Work Experience Module and candidate will be supported in any other training required. Informal Training: – Communication Skills – Teamwork – Time Management – Organisation Skills – Customer Service – Attention to Detail – Problem Solving and Adaptability – Canva – Facebook – Instagram – Other Social Media – Photography and Video Techniques – Audience and Targeting Analysis
