Join us as a Digital Lab Application Specialist and play a pivotal role in the development of an innovative digital solutions for the analytical laboratories. Your role will be incremental in unlocking the power of data for the organization by means of simple, effective to complex AI/ML based data processing applications and their user interface.Your role will accelerate the impact of data through integrating advanced analytics and AI/ML modelling workflows in our analytical development processes to improve data driven decision-making. Your main focus will be to design, build (or coordinate), and maintain a configurable, usable, and scalable innovative software platform that enables scientists to harness technology optimally in their research.We invite you to be a part in shaping and redefining the future of Synthetic Molecule Analytical Development in by joining the new vibrant Technology and Transformation Alliances (TNT) team where you be surrounded by passionate scientist and your contributions can truly make a difference!Primary responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain new and existing solution, using languages and frameworks such as Python, Django, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with direct code contributions
• Shape and follow an agile development and deployment strategy that allows you to deliver high impact quick with fast development cycles and iterations, while keeping an eye on sustainability and scalability once products reach mature stable state.
• Collaborate with various analytical domain specialists and data owners and innovation partners (Academic and internal) to understand scientific problems, solutions and platform requirements and help deliver end to end high-quality solutions
• Build initial integrations with platforms as appropriate if missing from central data architecture and help identify missing data towards lab workflows and technical requirements for technology partners. Apply enterprise solutions and strategies as appropriate to ongoing innovation projects,
• Optimize strategic software architecture and implementation for usability, performance, scalability, and reliability in collaboration with external developers
• Monitor and solve platform issues, ensuring timely resolution

QualificationsEducation:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Data-science, Statistics, Engineering or a related relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience required

Required:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience working in industry
• Proficiency in back end development in Python and with frameworks like Django or Flask
• Skilled in using AWS or other cloud providers to deliver containerized web applications
• Skilled in web front end development, including JavaScript / Typescript and at least one front-end framework such as React or Angular
• Experience in agile development, including test automation
• Proficiency in supporting, optimizing, and debugging sophisticated software products
• A record of effective collaboration with diverse team members

Preferred:

• Experience working in healthcare or another regulated industry with existing or willingness to learn the domain knowledge of analytical development labs
• Demonstrated ability to develop full stack software for configurable, cloud native platforms
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm
• Experience developing configurable software products
• Experience in advanced modelling techniques (AI/ML)
