Overview

We seek an enthusiastic, bright mind to help us change the brand marketing landscape. The ideal match must have an innate ability to find a story in data, an interest in any of our customer verticals, and the desire to have a huge impact.

As part of the Data Operations team, you will oversee the collection, processing, and analysis of data within the organization to ensure accuracy and accessibility. You will also be responsible for the integrity of our internal brand and creator data and the communication and delivery of high-level learnings to the larger team.

You will have the opportunity to manage a team, streamline workflows, and implement data governance policies to maintain high data quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate with other departments to leverage data insights for strategic decision-making and operational improvements.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Become the expert in our internal software tool, using it skillfully and efficiently to provide data for internal research, client reporting, and external marketing publications.
  • Work fluidly across internal teams – including Customer Success, Engineering, and Product – to answer burning data questions, diagnose data bugs, and improve our internal processes and dashboards.
  • Assist client-facing teams, including Customer Success, Account Management, Sales, and Marketing, in scoping and delivering custom reporting and analysis.
  • Create and deliver common data reporting deliverables as needed. Deep dive into the brand database and proactively determine ways to improve tagging, categorization, and expansion.
  • Manage a small team of Data Operations associates and specialists, overseeing and prioritizing projects.
  • Own end-to-end brand database management and expansion. Help build out our current processes in fast-growing verticals such as wellness, food and drink, and gaming.
  • Collaborate with the Product team as needed to surface the most common requests in-platform

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Data Operations, Data Analytics, or similar customer-focused data-centric background.
  • 1-2+ years of management experience.
  • You live in Excel and Google Sheets. Pivot tables and complex functions don’t scare you!
  • You’re able to identify trends in data, translate and communicate those trends, and advise on client and other external deliverables.
  • You are familiar with, and generally excited about, influencer marketing and the broader marketing and media landscape; you are interested in pop culture, beauty, fashion, or wellness or interested in learning more about these fields.
  • You communicate clearly through concise emails, video calls, and asynchronous tools (we use Slack & Notion!) to deliver easy-to-understand spreadsheets.
  • You’re self-motivated, an active listener, and a creative problem-solver.
  • You’re constantly improving the way we use and present our data.
  • You have an eye for detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in SQL and GraphQL is ideal.
