A day in the life of a Data Analyst

• Align with business stakeholders to understand and challenge their needs and requirements.
• Define a suitable analytical approach to achieve a solution that fits the business need. This is then communicated in a clear and transparent way to the stakeholders.
• Go over the execution phase, from gathering and exploring the data needed to applying the advanced analytics and statistical techniques needed.
• Present outcome of the analytics delivery in the form of business focused insights and/or relevant dashboards
• Contribute to the analytical community by sharing learnings and working on side-activities linked to craftmanship and tooling development.

• Academic background in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics or alike, and/or equivalent experience of 3 years
• Past professional experience in analytics related role.
• Technical skills in analytics leading to past successes. Such as experience with SQL, dashboarding and data visualization, Adobe analytics, Python.
• Strong independence and drive to take ownership on tasks assigned: you will be cultivating analytics within the bank and help us in the journey to being data driven.
• Be analytical: extremely curious, constantly looking for an explanation; analysing sharply, concise & to the point.

As a Data Analyst you will have the opportunity to:

• Participate in courses and trainings within the analytical domain.
• Challenging, strategic and highly visible projects to support or take the lead in.
• Learn more about the various aspect of data analytics within the retail domain as possible projects range from credit risk, product, marketing, and segment related. Providing you with possibilities to broaden and deepen your knowledge.

The team is composed of a mix of Data Analysts and Data Scientists and supported by both a Product Lead and Analytics translator. You will be joining us on our project-based way of working where most tracks are worked on by a small, dedicated team of 2-3 people mixing the roles available in the team with extra support from subject matter experts specific to the track. This project-based way of working also means you will have the possibility to work on different topics ranging from strategy defining deep dives, to more foundational building blocks of the bank, such as understanding and tracking evolution of customer feedbacks all the way to customer facing features of the app like transaction categorization.
