Description

We’ve a new opportunity for Customer Communications Executive in our newly structured Communications, Brand & Marketing team.

We’re looking for a strong customer advocate, with excellent copywriting skills and an understanding of digital customer journeys, together with experience developing communications in a regulated industry with an appreciation for the CPC and Data Protection rules.

The Customer Communications Executive will support the Customer Marketing Lead in the delivery of a Customer Engagement Plan that builds deeper relationships with our customers and delivers improved customer trust, retention, increased online self-service and multiproduct holding.

Key responsibilities include 

  • Draft and deliver on all requirements for customer communication working with stakeholders across the business to meet their requirements and ensuring robust sign off protocols and timelines are adhered to.
  • Support the customer marketing lead in executing the Direct Sales campaign plan, developing new communications, implementing A/B tests, providing regular reports on the outcome of campaigns and testing new communications channels.
  • Draft, build and deliver a customer newsletter and service emails that meet customer requirements for relevant, timely and useful information.
  • Ensure the content plan is agreed, signed off with key stakeholders and built to drive additional traffic to the website.
  • Ensure all newsletters and service communications are fully signed off and tested to deliver the best customer experience with trackable links to allow for robust reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

About the Person 

  • 2+ years of experience in a role supporting customer needs
  • Relevant Business qualification
  • Customer obsessed with excellent copywriting skills, and an understanding of digital customer journeys
  • Experience developing communications in a regulated industry with an appreciation for the CPC and Data Protection rules
  • Ability to work cross functionally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong appreciation for process.
  • Good organisational and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong focus on the customer and the impact of communications across all stages of the customer journey
  • Highly motivated, creative and business focused
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of relevant legislation and other market factors
  • Familiarity with content management systems.
  • Experience using a bulk email tool such as Cheetahmail or Salesforce Marketing
  • Comfortable analysing data.
