About our role

The Customer Brands Manager plays a critical role in bringing commercial tenders and contracts to life in our customer brands channel, working closely with all major retailers & QSR’s across all Simplot categories.

The Private label manager works closely with Sales and Innovation and is responsible for preparing and assessing inputs for the tender process (including but not limited to samples, financials, timelines, factory capability) right through to managing the projects through to execution in market.

This is a high pace role which requires agility and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects.

What you will do

  • Review and manage contract/tender process in conjunction with the commercial team, collating key inputs such as financials, product samples, factory capability and timelines to assess commercial viability, capability and strategic fit for the category.

  • Lead cross functional project teams, managing and inputting into key internal systems and processes such as Stage gate, artwork approvals, etc.

  • Daily interaction and communication with key customers, including: Project Timeline, Product Development, Samples, Artwork, Production, Launch requirements, Site visits, Customer portals and other customer requests.

  • Lead commercial planning for the Private Label channel, working closely with the branded category teams to build category growth plans that are mutually beneficial.

About you

  • Proven leadership of project teams

  • Experience in FMCG industry, food preferred but not essential

  • Ability to understand and analyse financials to build out pricing

  • Experience in developing Strategy

  • Highly organised with the ability to work at pace

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders
