Job Description

We have a unique opportunity for Contaminated Land Consultants (Various levels) to join our well-established team in Perth. These position will see you working on a diverse array of high-profile projects across a range of sectors, including Defence, transport, oil & gas, energy and property sectors. You and the team will both support and lead fieldwork, as well as undertake reporting and management of multiple concurrent contamination investigations, environmental monitoring and remediation projects of varying size and complexity.

You will work amongst a team of experienced peers and alongside our clients, while learning first-hand from our in-house technical leaders in Perth and globally. What will a day in this role look like

  • Planning and management of field works, including supervision, and engagement with contractors, clients and site occupiers

  • Project management, including planning, budgeting, financial management, scheduling, quality reviews, communication with relevant project stakeholders

  • Preparation of environmental reports and technical assessments, including but not limited to Work Plans, Preliminary and Detailed Site Investigations, Remedial Action Plans, Site Validation Reports, and technical communications to clients and stakeholders.

  • Involvement in large scale and long running projects to assess and manage environmental impacts and controls

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • 2+ years industry experience, ideally working within a consulting environment in contaminated land

  • Ability and willingness to split your time between work in our Perth office and work remotely in the field – essential.

  • A relevant University Degree in either science, geology, hydrogeology, chemistry, environmental or related engineering

  • Current C-Class Drivers Licence (manual) – Essential

  • Experience in data management software (ESDAT / Equis) and preparation of environmental reports
