The EY wavespace Experience Facilitator and Designer applies emerging human-centred design methods and the EY wavespace experience design framework to design and deliver exceptional client experiences.Your key responsibilities

  • Support the design, management and facilitation of EY wavespace client experiences.
  • Support understanding client challenges and needs and translate them into clear objectives.
  • Transfer EY’s and client’s objectives into the design of the experience, ensuring that outcomes and outputs are aligned to the desired goals and are met to the highest expected standards.
  • Support the design of compelling agenda’s, facilitating the client and the EY teams to integrate their knowledge and expertise into them.
  • Assisting ideation and board creation and design (Mural/Miro) and materials preparation.
  • Able to create visually impactful content for client facing sessions
  • Act as liaison with the Experience Leader/Manager and the other members of the experience team.
  • Coordination of session logistics and resources, ensuring all key elements are in place, all activities are planned, all material and supplies are available.
  • Align calendars on different software, ensure smooth coordination of the team projects, schedule meetings and support with notetaking.
  • After the experience, writing up the session outcome, completing the credential write ups, and liaising with the client team for any follow-up activities.
  • Proficient emotional intelligence and deep understanding of the importance of energy, flow and inspiration. Create a safe place for participation and input during the design and delivery of a session.
  • Adept listening skills and ability to navigate challenging and political discussions and viewpoints.

Success and attributes for successTo qualify for the role, you must have

  • Experience working with facilitation tools and proven track record of successful experience facilitation.
  • Excellent communication skills, and enthusiasm for investigating and learning new facilitation techniques.
  • Experience using (and a passion for) interactive technology and collaboration tools (e.g. Miro/Mural, MS suite)
  • A curious, inquisitive mindset.
  • Attention to details and precision in execution of tasks.
  • Comfortable working closely with C-suite level executives.
  • Comfortable with working in a fast-paced environment where multiple projects and experiences are delivered at the same time.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of multidisciplinary teams and clients.
  • Experience using design thinking frameworks and working on agile teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • High emotional intelligence.
  • Strong ability to handle and facilitate difficult conversations and different points of view.
  • Develop and maintain long-term client relationships, as well as internal/external networks, ability to integrate into new teams and rapidly establish rapport.

Ideally, you will also have

  • Our workplace is in our Dublin office where we host in-person client sessions, for this reason candidates must be committed to commuting to our office in Dublin to facilitate working from our offices.
  • We work flexibly and support remote working but are required to be in-person when facilitating client sessions.
  • Relevant professional experience in one or more of the following disciplines/frameworks: Experience Design, Design Thinking, Customer/Employee Experience, Strategy and Business Design, System Design, Innovation Design and Project Management, SCRUM, Agile.
  • Preferred experience working in a consulting environment.
  • Preferred experience using collaborative facilitation and human-centred design methods to solve complex problems.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, post-graduate degree is a plus, preference for a background in the following disciplines: Experience Design, Design Thinking, Customer/Employee Experience, Strategy and Business Design, System Design, Innovation Design and Project Management, SCRUM, Agile.
  • Completion of any Innovation, Design Thinking, Human-Centred Design is preferred.
  • 3 – 5 years professional experience.
