As an Atlassian Global Alliance Partner we are at the forefront of solving our clients’ most complex business challenges and we are looking for experienced Atlassian practitioners to join our growing team. There will be opportunities for coaching and training for strong candidates who do not have experience in all these areas:Client deliveryAs a member of the ACE team, you will be involved in the end-to-end design and implementation of the solutions that business and technology teams use to manage work, products and programmes:

  • Assisting in the design of Atlassian tools (may include Jira, Confluence, JSM, Jira Align, JPD, Atlas, Compass, Bitbucket, etc. ) to support projects delivering technology change and new digital products
  • Working with teams and projects to understand and define their requirements
  • Support the design of fit-for-purpose solutions based on good practices for software delivery, project/programme management and agile ways of working
  • Working with the ACE Leads to develop and manage deployment plans for Atlassian solutions, tracking progress and escalating issues as required
  • Implementing custom workflows, fields, permission schemes, and other configuration changes in Jira
  • Implementing Atlassian solutions to agreed designs, including configuration, integration, reporting and training
  • Supporting multiple client projects when required
  • Contributing to the design, development and implementation of new project, programme or portfolio management tools

Continuous innovation

  • Supporting the development of innovative new Atlassian-based services, tools, demonstrators and accelerators:
  • Contributing to good practice for adoption and use of Jira/Confluence through development of accelerators, tools and training
  • Assessing and exploring new tools, plugins and integrations for Jira and Confluence, to develop different tooling approaches for agile metrics and reporting for different use cases and audiences (leadership, business users, managers, development teams)

There will be significant opportunities for coaching and training across all of these areas. We are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience in setting up and administering one or more Atlassian solutions or products. Training and certification will be available across the wider Atlassian ecosystem, but this should include: ability to create simple and complex Jira workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes and ability to work with Jira filters, reporting, dashboards, workflows, fields
  • Experience of working in a software delivery, project management or PMO environment
  • Experience of analysing data and creating reports
  • A passion for helping teams build better work practices and tools
  • A growth mind-set – You will embrace new challenges, hone your skills through experience and have a continual focus on learning to expand your capabilities
  • Problem solving – You will face new challenges regularly and will have an enthusiastic and persistent approach to finding better solutions for our teams and clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills / ability to communicate and share knowledge with internal and external contacts at all levels

Desirable experience or qualificationsOur client-facing services encompass a broad range of products, solutions, practices and methodologies. While we do not expect every team member to possess experience in all of these areas, experience in one or more of the following areas is desirable:

  • Certification and/or Accreditation in Atlassian products
  • Knowledge of agile ways of working or scaled agile (e.g. Scrum, SAFe, etc.)
  • Software engineering or DevOps experience
  • Experience with 3rd party add-ons and plugins for Jira/Confluence for testing/deployment/release management
  • Experience using/extending REST services provided by Atlassian
  • Familiar with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and Lean
  • Experience with Atlassian Cloud migrations
  • Exposure to Atlassian, project management, software development or technology role
