You will cover the implementation and fine tuning of a system that accurately tracks all EPS opportunities through the various stages of pipeline management, and all EPS jobs from start to completion. You will also oversee the effective planning and timely allocation of specialist staff to support these activities whilst also using data and performance indicators (such as utilisation) to continuously drive efficiency and provide objective evidence of the need for further expansion.The EPS team works closely with its customers to identify environmental risks related to the management and use of containment infrastructure. The team’s holistic approach to the assessment of risk includes the framing of credible scenarios based on in depth analysis of a sites operational processes and the surrounding environment. Where gaps and deficiencies are found, the EPS team works with customers and regulators to ensure compliance with environmental legislation via the design and implementation of pragmatic solutions covering all aspects of a containment asset’s lifecycle.As our Consultancy Manager your purpose will cover three aspects – Leadership, EPSS&OP/ Resource Management and Stakeholder Management.Leadership:

• Managing all internal S&OP related matters on behalf of the head of EPS
• Deputising for the Head of EPS in their absence, and on an as required basis
• Leading weekly EPS forecasting sessions between EPS, operations and Finance
• Ensuring appropriate use and periodic maintenance of all EPS rate cards
• Assisting the Head of EPS during the annual strategy and budget setting process
• Leadership and management of the EPS support team.

EPS S&OP / Resource Management:

• Accurate recording, tracking, management and reporting of: EPS pipeline opportunities and their development / progression from month to month, EPS quotations (incl. calculation of time to quote data and conversion rate), EPS advisory visits and associated reports (incl. average time to complete and EPS programmes, projects and other works.
• Timely and effective allocation of competent persons to fee earning work
• EPS time sheet process
• Data and MI to best aid efficient allocation of specialist resources and support growth.

Stakeholder Management:

• Liaison with A&A service lines involved in the development and delivery of integrated solutions.
• Liaison with external suppliers involved in the development and delivery of integrated solutions.
• Investigation and resolution of service quality issues when they occur.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Working in a similar internally focused role in a Consultancy setting and / or with highly skilled field teams.
• Design, implementation and successfully management of new business processes.
• Successful track record of using data to drive performance, growth, efficiency and ongoing improvement.
• A proven ability to create and successfully implement plan.
• At ease in a field, customer or A&A Executive team setting.
• High level of IT and financially literacy.
• A strong commercial outlook and drive to deliver business targets.
• An ability to logically analyse problems, rapidly develop coherent plans and implement solutions.
• A highly motivated and reliable self-starter capable of converting outline direction into outcomes.
• An agile mind, capable of responding positively to change and generating continuous improvement.
• A working knowledge of EPS professional matters is also highly desirable.
