  • Monitoring the project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project.
  • Support and develop the successful delivery of projects using key project management principles, including risk management, change management, schedule management and quality whilst always maintaining a focus on safety.
  • Overseeing H&S forums and implementing H&S initiatives, ensuring safety is at the forefront of the construction phase.
  • Co-ordinating resources to achieve successful delivery, ensuring AtkinsRéalis quality of work is maintained and balanced against the Client’s own requirements.
  • Identify and document specific actions including establishing milestone to be performed to produce the project deliverables.
  • Review plans with architects, surveyors, and engineers.
  • Management of on-site logistics.
  • Maintaining and developing excellent Stakeholder and Alliance relationships.
  • Support the development of more junior staff through technical training and mentoring.

What you can bring:

  • BEng, MEng, or MSc Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Alternatively, a good track record of project management ideally across aviation/transportation schemes.
  • Appropriate previous experience of working on civils/residential projects.
  • Ability to act on own initiative and operate in a proactive way.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and integrate into multi-disciplinary teams or work independently.
  • Experience of working in an Aviation environment.
  • Site Construction experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to report financial and progress information to Client audience.
  • Ability to assess and resolve site planning and coordination issues.
  • Apply risk assessment and management principles and processes.
  • Network effectively, negotiate well and influence people, broker relationships with stakeholders within and outside the project.
