Together, we will build on our company’s long history and keep on leading the way to a better world.Discover your exciting roleThe Mechanical Construction Manager will lead the mechanical construction division of a multi-disciplinary project team engaged in high-tech facilities to strict safety, time, quality and security requirements.The successful candidate is required to be on-site in Hamina, Finland.Explore your tasks and responsibilitiesEnsure that all project safety requirements are met and adhered toDefine the division’s objectives within the project and communicate those aims to the staff, whether those goals are safety, quality or programme related and in so far as reasonably practicable ensure the objectives are either achieved or improvedTo be the point of contact for subcontractor site management and be involved with the subcontractor selection and procurement processSet standards of behaviour and responsibility for project teamTo be involved with the project decision making processTo help and support team membersTo keep accurate records and ensure the team also provide detailed accounts of their activitiesWork closely with the design team and offer advice on buildability and suitability of design solutionsShow your expertiseMechanical/Civil Engineering or other relevant degreeMechanical Construction experience, including having worked through a graduate programme and/or sub/site manager improvement routeUse all recording tools and data to keep an accurate position of the project programme.Remain up to date with current Health & Safety legislation.Evidence of continuing professional development and an ongoing commitment to undertake training and studies to meet the demands of both current and future legislation relating to the design of building servicesAbility to work to deadlines, under pressure and on own initiativeCONTACT:Ciaran O’Connor – ciaran.oconnor3@exyte.netExyte is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer and is committed to equal opportunity and equal treatment.
