Position Overview:
The Construction and Facility Manager oversees the planning, execution, and maintenance of construction and infrastructure projects within the organization. This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Additionally, the manager is responsible for facility maintenance, procurement, and logistics to support operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
○ Plan, coordinate, and manage construction and infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
○ Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and organizational standards.
○ Oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
○ Optimize resource allocation, budgeting, and procurement for construction and facility needs.
○ Maintain and improve existing facilities to support operational requirements.
○ Manage procurement and logistics related to construction materials, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
○ Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure facility functionality and safety.
Qualifications & Skills:
○ Proven experience in construction project management and facility maintenance.
○ Strong knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance standards.
○ Excellent organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
○ Ability to manage contractors and coordinate multiple projects efficiently.
○ Experience in procurement and logistics is an advantage.
○ Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
○ Knowledge in Quantity Surveying
