Summary

Works with Communications Manager and Communications Director, supporting daily strategic communications for Parkview Health. Communications Specialist develops communication materials for internal stakeholders including leaders and co-workers. Helps to prepare and manage internal communications output including preparing and execution of strategic communications plans. Ensures communication strategy is consistent and reflects Parkview’s strategic vision, supporting plans and ideas with research and experience. Refines core messaging to ensure organizational consistency in all aspects of communication including development, organizing and education. Ensures consistent framing of messages through providing content creation, curation and editing. Works with Communications team members to execute communication needs within identified timeframe. Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrates advanced journalistic and creative writing skills and strong editing skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or Public Relations.

Experience

Five years of experience required, with healthcare experience preferred.
